A Lagotto Romagnolo has a proud Italian heritage stemming hundreds of years. Originally a water retriever, the breed has evolved into being excellent truffle hunters. The Lagotto Romagnolo is known for its soft curly hair that is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Dogs will usually grow to just under 20 inches and no more than 35 pounds.
